Luc is the Founder of Chief Hospitality: an international platform of keynote speakers on True Hospitality in a Digital Society. Luc is a visionary leader who understands the importance of Hospitality in the digital age. As the Founder of Chief Hospitality, he is a leading voice on how Hospitality can provide a warm and nurturing foundation for building genuine connections person-to-person in a world that is becoming increasingly disconnected through hyper-individualization.
With over 30 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, Luc has seen firsthand how Hospitality can transform people's lives. He believes that true Hospitality is not just about providing excellent service and amenities, but also about creating an environment where people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. He is passionate about creating a world where everyone can experience the transformative value and connecting power of Hospitality.
In today's digital society, people are becoming increasingly isolated and disconnected from each other. Social media and other forms of digital communication have made it easier to connect with others, but they have also created a sense of distance and anonymity that can make it difficult to form genuine connections. This is where Hospitality can play a crucial role.
“In the digital age, Hospitality can be used to create a more empathetic and compassionate society. By prioritizing the needs and desires of others, we can break down the walls of isolation and create a sense of community. We can create spaces where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences and building meaningful relationships. This can lead to a more compassionate and understanding society, where people are more willing to help each other and work together to solve problems”, quote Luc.
Luc is a innovative creative with a mission: inspiring people with the passion of Hospitality. His inspiration, insights and experiences provide a valuable roadmap for how we can use Hospitality to create a more empathetic and compassionate society. By embracing the transformative power of Hospitality, we can create a world where people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, and where genuine connections between people can thrive.

The Law of Hospitality
7 Steps to make you feel like home
The Law of Hospitality is an interactive and extensive keynote on the 7 steps to True Hospitality. The Keynote demonstrates the power and the need for True Hospitality in this digital age. Making people feel like home is the central theme of the Keynote. What is Hospitality? Why will it make a difference in today’s organizations? What are the 7 universal steps in becoming the perfect host for a new guest, client or colleague?
Luc's Keynote
During the Hospitality keynotes, Luc takes the participants into his world of Hospitality. The program is a revealing inspiration about the essence of Hospitality in society, in business and in everyone’s private life. The aim of the keynotes is to bring people back to the power and essence of warm human connections. Those connections suffer from the digitization of contacts and transient connections.
Only real encounters will make real connections. The question is: How do you ‘connect’? According to Luc van Bussel, Hospitality is the art of connecting with each other, both privately and professionally. “People cannot live without each other. They continue to visit and meet each other. In this digital society, human encounters and connections make the difference. When everything becomes digital, human language makes the difference again!” (quote Luc van Bussel)
What to expect
Author
Writing is my great passion. I have to write every day. My emotion becomes words, texts and books. 'Whoever writes stays' is what I am giving substance to. I write mainly with the hope that my children will read it all again soon. In this way, hopefully, they can empathize and understand everything about their father. Perhaps words make an eternal connection between the generations. I am blessed with the inspiration to be able to put my thoughts on paper and pass them on to others. Not everyone will understand or agree with my words, but it is my truth and nothing but my truth.
